Paul Gardiner

Paul studied architecture in Melbourne and worked in Melbourne, Sydney and London, before setting up Gardiner Architects in the 1990’s.
The Practice has successfully operated over three decades and continues today with six staff.
Paul’s architectural interests have always focused on environmentally sustainable design, from the early days of passive solar design and now embracing new technologies and materials such as mass engineered timber.
The practice has worked on a wide range of project types including specialisations in children’s early learning projects and has had a continuing residential base.
Paul has served on various AIA committees, is currently involved in the architectural mentoring program, as well as volunteering with various community groups.
Outside architecture, Paul likes to be in the ocean or on a yoga mat.
